Who is responsible
Alpha Siddhant, owned and run by Siddhant Gour (an individual, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India), is responsible for the personal data collected through www.siddhantgour.com, www.siddhant.si, the Alpha Siddhant store at www.siddhantgour.com/alpha, the Alpha Studio and the Alpha by Siddhant app.
What we collect
- When you buy. Razorpay processes your payment and shares with us the order and payment IDs, the amount and its status, the email address and phone number you enter at checkout, and payment details such as the method used (for example a UPI ID, or a card’s network and last four digits). We never receive your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password.
- When you write to us. Your name, your contact details and what you tell us.
- When you visit. Our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, process your IP address, your browser type and the pages you ask for, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies.
- On your device. Your light or dark theme choice, and the links to your purchases, are saved in your browser’s storage so the site can remember them. They stay on your device.
- Your videos. The clips and photos you use in the Alpha Studio or the Alpha by Siddhant app are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. The app asks for access to your photo library only so that you can pick clips and save your finished video.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data, show ads, use advertising or analytics trackers, or build profiles about you.
Why we use it
To deliver what you bought and let you open it again; to answer support and refund requests; to prevent fraud and abuse; to keep the accounts and tax records Indian law requires; and to keep the service secure and working.
Who we share it with
- Razorpay, to process payments and refunds. Razorpay’s own privacy policy covers what you give it at checkout.
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site.
- Government authorities, only when the law requires it.
No one else.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, and then deleted. Messages are kept while we help you and for a reasonable time after. Technical logs are kept for a short time, for security.
How we protect it
The whole service runs over HTTPS. You pay on Razorpay’s secure checkout, so your card and bank details go to Razorpay directly and never pass through our servers.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (except records the law requires us to keep), and you can withdraw any consent you have given. Write to us with the details below; we reply within 2 working days.
Grievance officer: Siddhant Gour, at the contact details below. Write to him with any complaint about how your data is handled.
Children
The service is not meant for children. Anyone under 18 should use it, and buy from it, only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version.
